This ride starts and ends in Whitehouse, not far from the Ryland Inn. After leaving the start point, the route heads north towards Oldwick, then northwest to the tiny quiet town of Mountainville. Then we go through Lebanon, after which we begin an extended climb up and up to the scenic Round Valley Resorvoir; as a reward for all our hard work, we enjoy an extended downhill cruise towards Stanton. There are several general stores along the route for possible stops. To get the ride description on-line, go to: <http://www.state.nj.us/njcommuter/pdf/rvalley.pdf> Please note that we have made some minor changes to this route and will have route sheets available at the ride start.
