4 | | large fresh sweet potatoes

1 | c. | whole fresh or frozen cranberries

½ | c. | chopped walnuts or pecans

2/3 | c. | packed brown sugar
|
½ | c. | maple syrup
|
3 | tbsp. | melted butter
|
½ | c. | orange juice
|
1 | tsp. | cinnamon
|
| - Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Butter a covered 4 qt. baking dish.
- Peel and chop sweet potatoes.
- Place in baking dish and toss with cranberries and nuts.
- In saucepan, combine sugar, syrup, butter, OJ and cinnamon.
- Bring to a boil and pour over sweet potatoes.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
- Remove cover, stir potatoes and cook for another 25 minutes,
or until potatoes are tender.
