13th Annual Rock 'N Ride Bike Tour & Party in the Park.
Rock 'N Ride is a fully supported, family-friendly bike tour along
scenic Long Beach Island. Support and Gear Wagons, bike mechanics
and road marshals are on location to ensure your ride goes
smoothly. Ride at your own pace and pause to sightsee with your
team of
family, friends & co-workers at beautiful rest stops along our 40-,
20- and 10-mile routes.
The day culminates with The Red Cross' "Party in the Park."
Held at Sunset Park, you'll enjoy a fantastic BBQ, activities for
the kids, and
live entertainment from rock & roll greats, The Nerds & The Punks.

6th Annual Tour de Pines.
In celebration of Pinelands Month in October, Pinelands Preservation
Alliance (PPA) and Dan Rappoport, a bicycle touring enthusiast
and longtime volunteer with PPA, have again joined forces for
5 consecutive single-day (loop) bicycle tours of the New Jersey
Pinelands. The goal is twofold: to highlight the natural and historic
features of the 1 million acres of the Pinelands, and to encourage
New Jersey residents to get out and explore this unique environment.
The Tour de Pines is a voluntary, non-competitive, unsupported ride.
Participants are required to provide their own transportation,
food and lodging (recommendations will be provided with cue sheets).
Various Pinelands starting points.

Hanover is southwest of Harrisburg, west of York, and approximately
14 miles east of Gettysburg. The surrounding countryside is

War landmarks. The cities of York and Gettysburg also offer a vast
assortment of museums & galleries, farmers' markets, cafes, shopping,
