Jun. 5 This BTCNJ-sponsored ride rambles around Bergen county. It is a relatively big ride - several hundred people at least. It goes through some pretty areas with some nice streets to ride on. Last year's 45 mile route had 1700 feet of elevation gain in the ride.

Jun. 12 On Saturday afternoon, ride up and down with us through the beautiful countryside to the west of Princeton and along the Stony Brook. Sure, there are a few hills, but all are short climbs. The roads are mostly narrow country lanes, and the surroundings are pleasant... New Jersey really can be bucolic. Trek home on Saturday night and return on Sunday for a second day of riding, but this time on roads along the Delaware and Raritan Canal, or stay overnight locally, choosing from a wide variety of hotels and motels in and around Princeton; it's well worth a visit. (Please contact us for more information on meals, lodging and downtown Princeton.) We are planning on providing cookies and brownies at the rest stop on both days (and oh yes, water too).
Ride rain or shine. No rain date.

Terrain Trails are listed as Easy to Moderate with a few Difficult trails. Climbs are minimized by having rollers to "boost" you up them.

2011 Summer Solstice Ride & Party

Jun. 18 A late afternoon into early evening ride through the flatlands of Southern NJ to celebrate the longest daylight on the calendar. Cue sheets will be left for those either caught in traffic or just arriving late. This is a DOGS event; if you are bringing a new team, our goal is not to drop them. Mel has been promoting this ride and expects some potential DOGS members to participate, so please be courteous and greet the strangers who might become fellow DOGS members.

Dirty DOGS VT Kingdom Trails Weekend Blast 2011

Jul. 4 Join TeamBreeze and have a BLAST this 4th Of July weekend exploring the Kingdom Trails in VT. We are co-hosting this event with Joe & Dawn (single bikers) and their Picatinny Mountain Bike Group. Come camp/lodge with us, but if you don't want to brave the big outdoors, get yourself an RV at the campground and enjoy the camping experience with us! We just reserved the RV rental Site #MO480 to share with Jay & Amy on the edge of the pop-up & tent sites. Sites are going fast since it is a holiday weekend. We hear the tent sites should be available up until very near the weekend, but the smaller pop-up camper sites are slim pickings. There are more big RV sites if you have one or want pop-up near them! It looks like a nice place with a pool, hot showers, flush toilets, and electricity at the campsite. They have 2 of 4 RV rentals available that sleep 8 and cost $119/night. Come early, stay late or even only stay part of the long weekend, spend some days exploring the area off the bike, we'd love to have you join us either way.

The views are impressive, and there aren't a lot of rocks or log crossings. It is like Allegripis (Lake Raystown, PA) and White Clay (Delaware), except more vertical.
Refreshments MEALS: Your choice: BYO, or off-site dining choices. We will have a group dinner out on Saturday and a Campsite Bring-a-Dish dinner on Sunday.
