This nationally-acclaimed bicycling event, beginning and ending on the campus of Salisbury University, will tour the picturesque Eastern Shore of Maryland and offers two routes to choose from. |

| Offroad Tandems at Iron 'Cross V | |

Oct. 13 to Sunday Oct. 14 | Two day event culminating in riding the Iron 'Cross. On Saturday,
Judy and Malcolm host a warm-up ride Saturday morning prior to the
Iron 'Cross, and watch the Iron 'Cross Lite cyclocross races at Camp
Thompson Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, we ride the Iron 'Cross,
100 kilometers and 6000'+ climb of extended cyclocross -- it's
patterned after the High Peaks race in the UK, and we think it's a
unique event in the US. Michaux State Forest near Pine Grove Furnace
between Carlisle and Gettysburg, PA. If you are not riding the Iron
'Cross, we can provide maps of road or offroad routes for you to
explore on Sunday. RSVP.
You must register for the Iron 'Cross separately (see <http://www.yellowbreechesracing.org> and <http://www.highspeedcycling.com> ) but no racing license is required. Map and racing numbers provided. You can cache food and hydration at 4 intermediate check points. All corners are marked and flagged. The Iron 'Cross is a strenuous ride, our total elapsed time last year was 9 hours, but situated in a very pretty area 10 miles from Judy's home town. Allison and Boyd will be staying at the:

| Terrain | Iron 'Cross terrain consists of approximately equal parts pavement, gravel dual track, and single track with run-ups (trail too steep and rugged to cycle). We ran 2.1" tires last year on the mountain tandem, or bring your 'cross tandem. Many long hills and steep run-ups. |

Join over 2000 riders from all over the northeastern United States and ride through some of the most beautiful areas in this part of the world.
