Flip Flop Flapjack Frolic
Sunday
Dec. 4
Join us for a crisp ride in the Hunterdon/Morris county hills and valleys. This ride is similar to the Pancake ride but some of the roads will be done in the opposite direction. Ride your tandem and take in beautiful Morris and Hunterdon scenery along the way. The Hacklebarney cider mill is open in December and we will take a short break there to enjoy the smells, scenery and, for some, the food. After the ride we will have "dutch treat" post-ride lunch in one of Califon's two fine pizza parlors just a short 1/4 mile up the road.

For those of you who would like to have breakfast before the ride, the Califon Fire Department is having their monthly all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, toast, coffee, and orange juice event ($6). If you RSVP, then we can meet you and sit together. Either way, come out and enjoy this beautiful, scenic ride.

Christmas Get-together with Christina and Rich
Monday
Dec. 26
Christina Chan and Rich LeGrand were DOGS until they moved to Texas. They're back for a visit, which provides an excuse to get together.

Here's the plan:

  • It will be a potluck gathering DOGS-style. Please email Deb with what type of item you would like to bring so that we can fill in where necessary.
  • We will do a WHITE ELEPHANT EXCHANGE!!!
    • One gift per member (i.e., 2 per tandem). Search for that one of a kind item in your house that you can't bring yourself to throw away - but there's NO WAY that you will ever use it again. Make sure you wrap it and make it look inviting! White elephant gifts are NOT to be purchased. It must be something you already have. Be creative and fun when picking your gift item. (I know this group will come up with some "interesting" gifts!) Beware: the Rotato may show up once again...
