Stop by Vicky Race Farms for apple cider donuts, then onward to the mountaintop octagonal house. We may even spot a buffalo or two along on our journey. Rain cancels.

The Staten Island Bicycling Association is happy to invite you to our annual, season ending, sag supported, cycling event -- the Pumpkin Patch Pedal. This is a great ride to finish off your cycling season. This year, as always, we will offer rides of 25, 50, 62 and 100 miles. Each of these scenic rides winds through the rolling farmlands of central New Jersey during the peak of the harvest season. (Registration fee: $25.)

The Sea Gull Century is a nationally acclaimed bicycle tour of Maryland's Eastern Shore. It is a "Best Bicycling in America" event and was a National Century Challenge Winner in 1995 and 1993 by the League of American Bicyclists. The Sea Gull Century has also been named among the Top 10 century rides in the nation by Bicycling magazine (August '93).

Swampy Jockey Jaunt

Our ride starts on the relatively flat roads around the Great Swamp. Then things go downh..., uhh, uphill, into the hills in the Mendham area, circling Morristown National Historic Park and Jockey Hollow, and returning to the Great Swamp area for one last, modest hill.
