We couldn't have asked for better weather for Ann's 10th annual BATS (Bicycle Around The Somerset Hills) ride with all new routes for her last year hosting this great event. There were six different length routes to choose from and the members of the DOGS that attended chose the 30, 50 & metric routes. We tried to get a "ride start" photo but, because the suggested ride start times varied, there were DOGS embarking on their respective routes at different times. The metric route was a rolling to hilly route that went around Round Valley Reservoir and was a wonderful ride that we will save the cue sheet for another ride at another time. We arrived back when things were winding down and enjoyed the tasty subs with drinks.
Thanks to all our fellow DOGS that we rode with, we had a great time and a special thanks to Ann Smith for all her hard work for the past ten years!!!!!
