Team Golden, Team Winick/Samuelson, and Team Tendler/Lancman enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in the parking lot of the JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly before riding south to the GWB, then North on the scenic route along the river up to the Alpine Police Station. We then headed up to Nyack along 9W, stopping at the Runcible Spoon to gather some supplies and chatted with a group of riders from the UWS. Jay guided us onto the Nyack Beach Bikeway to a lovely picnic site where we ate our lunch. Retracing our route along 9W, we stopped briefly at The Market, and finished back at the JCC to socialize over veggie juices, smoothies and other comestibles from the JCC's cafe. A glorious day for a 45 mile ride. It was a familiar route for all three teams, but we had lots of fun with new friends. Thank you DOGS for enabling us to find each other!
